OH MY! I am so very giddy right now! This is going to be great fun, I can tell :)

You girls are so talented individually, I can't wait to see what the three of you do together as a team! Congratulations, I hope this adventure is all you hope it will be!

Great idea. Hope others will use it too.

Being new to blogging as such, I'm exploring many resources, wandering through the webspace both befuddled and awed.

Yours is a sophisticated, soothing oasis to which I will return as I build my own blog experience for dull, dry lawyers and their camp followers.

I have seen a few Wikis elsewhere; to me they are very confusing.

It seems like it 's a brainstorming session (which isn't bad while trying to figure something out amongst yourselves, but as far as my trying to learn from the your brainstorming, it's confusing!)

I think it's wonderful that you all are figuing out new technologies together. I hope that once something is settled on, that it's presented in a non Wiki fashion (if it was meant to be a guide to others).

Perhaps I'll understand Wiki style setups if they become used more. But at this time, this format just confuses me more than when I came in.

Thanks anyway,
Sherri

Sherri - thanks for the feedback. It took US a while to get the wiki idea, but once we got into it, we were really happy with the results. I can see where alternate indexes to the information may help people who are not familiar with Wiki. That seems to be the weakness I've found - its a bit hard to figure out where to go from the first wiki page.
If you have any specific ideas, feel free to let us know :)

I can relate to your confusion. The Wiki baffled me quite a bit at first. =)

However, I think we've made a strong effort to have the MT Wiki function much like any online documentation does. WikiWords make it easy to create links from one topic to another, so that you can read one topic and click to other related topics.

As the foundation is established, having this MT documentation in a Wiki format will allow users to add their own contributions to the base information we have outlined. So then it becomes a more enhanced version of what is currently available, merely by the fact that authorship is not limited to a handful of people.

But the only way Wiki-style setups will become used more is if visitors start to use them. =)

Girlie & kristine,

I did get my MT installed last night. It's still on default everything. So, even though I was VERY confused on my first visit, I'll come back to see how I 'adapt' to Wiki's.

I'll be sure to let you know if I've used any of your teachings to enhance/addon/style my MT *S*

Keep up the great work; you're in my bookmarks,
Sherri
